PRATEOFOR - "From practice to theory for teacher education: a research epistemological
This project comes at a delicate time in Italy, which emerge under pressure to reform education. Since 1999, the initial training of teachers takes place in University facilities: Schools of teaching in secondary.
The training in initial teacher training is needed to improve the capacity for reflection and interpretation of the scholastic world and thus constitute the teaching profession. The need to conduct the training in European countries stems from the need to validate educational practices with comparable national training strategies implemented in other countries and the need to come together in a common European basic training. Specific objectives
- identify the organizational aspects of education systems of host countries
- to strengthen skills in effective communication
- recognizing the diversity of styles teaching and organization of teaching
- developing assessment tools for skills certification in Europe
- evaluating the processes and results in different European countries to optimize a model of initial teacher education. The beneficiaries are 30 trainees
SSIS addresses of various disciplines.
The activity program, which lasts 13 weeks (from 09/09/2006 to 12/09/2006), is in training and disciplinary (seminars, planning of teaching materials, study of innovative strategies, etc..) Bodies partner, structurally similar to SSIS, and observational placements in schools, coordinated by tutors and supervisors SSIS. The outcome evaluation will be conducted by tutors and supervisors of the SSIS.
FORT-"The practice in Teacher Training: Training in the relationship between academic knowledge and practical knowledge"
The project idea is to create an exchange of theories and practices with staff training and further training of teachers to order to enhance the professionalism of the supervisors of the internship through the analysis of one or more European contexts that have an established system of teacher training. The project is intended to
16 faculty internship supervisors from several disciplines address the SSIS will last 4 weeks (09/02/2006 - 09/30/2006) and will take place in countries Netherlands, France and Austria.
The partnership consists of structures involved in initial and continuing training of teachers.
The added value of the project is to enable the growth of the European dimension of teacher education in order to transfer eventually the results will be in Italy on what the new structure of training established by Law 53/03. Target
